🔗 The Instagram Changes Are Not Enough

I think the solution to keep minors safe on social media requires a combination of social media companies, hardware companies, and parents.

It's easy to point the finger and demand a Government response to the growing issue of online safety for kids on social media, and of course they should play a part in it.

However, as we are the ones that buy our kids mobile devices that access these social media networks, we need to take responsibility and be the ones that are managing how our kids are accessing these ones.

I'm not kidding myself for one second thinking that our kids won't try and find a way around whatever restrictions we apply, but if we're not trying and we're just passing the buck, then what example are we setting for our kids.
