@adamprocter good luck!

@manton that’s brilliant, thank you!
I’ve been a pocket user for a long time and was wondering where to take the archive, along with needing a new workflow for saving things moving forward.

@lmika and don’t be afraid to theme the names too, gives the business some personality. A old client of mine had 10 meeting rooms on their main campus, all named after the CEOs favourite musicians and bands from the 60’s and 70’s.

I may have solved this using shortcuts, most of the friction at least. Once it’s fully bedded down, I should document the process…

@patrickrhone I’m with you, I just find chinos more versatile, dress them up, dress them down, too easy! Jeans are a different vibe, can’t really dress them up that much, and for me, shoe choice matters more than it does with chinos. And don’t get me started on jorts…not with my stumpy lil legs

@jbaty do you air guitar to Priest? I generally can’t help myself! 🤘

@cleverdevil wow, that’s hectic, little scary too! Imagine if that happened during takeoff or the initial ascent!

@jbaty have you checked out Immich? Looks like a self-hosted Google Photos.

@duckrowing hahaha that puts an interesting spin on it!

@gregmorris could be a whole lot worse, could’ve dropped the Guinness too! 😩

@jarrod that looks epic, especially compared to the amount of snow we get here. Enjoy the day!

@withers very Australian indeed, I think Queenslanders and Tasmanians do it best though.

@patrickrhone Same here, the more disorder in the World, the more organised something becomes in our household. I’m currently re-organising and tidying my photo catalog and archives

@Mtt that’s a great looking theme, thanks for the ongoing contributions you make to the community. 👏

@manton I appreciate the way you’ve handled yourself publicly through this, and that you haven’t jumped into the cesspool of name calling and all the sorts of ways these things normally play out. Thank you for that.

@aeryn My unsolicited advice would be to not jump to change anything because of the pressure. Far too frequently that is what we do these days, we don’t give ourselves time to see the whole thing play out before making a final decision with all the evidence in front of us, or we’re having it skewed because the acceleration from 0 to Outrage is just so fast on the social web.
I tend to remove myself from the conversation and wait for it all to play out before I make the decision that is best for me.

@Miraz good luck for a quick and painless sales process.

@cheesemaker same here, put a fan or airconditioner on in the room and I really struggle to clearly hear what anyone is saying, I’ve also found out that I do not read lips remotely as well as I thought I would…

@withers I looked forward to welcoming back Tom as our new social overlord, then I remembered that News Corp bought them and was less enthused about having Rupert as a MySpace friend

@humdrum I like to see lots of the facets of the person’s life on their primary blog / domain, so I’d argue against subdomains in that context. For me, subdomains are for the spinoff projects (before they require their own domain) or for keeping stuff personal and away / hidden from main domain.

@gregmorris the only shocking thing to me in that thread is how open he is about how bad he’s about to make meta, and how much he doesn’t care about what that looks like.

@pratik that thread by Zuck blows my mind, it reads like he’s been waiting to reveal that right wing side of himself, he’s definitely leaning in ready for a kiss from the incoming admin. And for me, it’s definitely time to delete my account from all meta products.
