Wow, the pilot for Matlock is just terrible. And the reveal… Hopefully it’s just a “pilot” issue.

    📺 Watching: Starting 5

Five NBA superstars' journeys during the 2023-24 season. Their on-court battles, injury struggles, and efforts to balance family life and cementing their legacies.
Pretty good documentary series out now on Netflix.

    📺 Started Watching: SHŌGUN

📺 Watched: What’s Next? The Future with Bill Gates

Quite an interesting doco, some divisive subjects and alternate points of view from both sides. Definitely worth watching if you’re interested in near future technologies.

Gates tackles far-reaching topics from artificial intelligence to income inequality with curiosity and an open mind.

📺 Watched: Twilight of the Gods

Not a bad take on some familiar stories and characters.

An animated series inspired by Norse Mythology. The Twilight of the Gods refers to events that led to the destruction of Midgard and Asgard, then the death of most of the Æsir and Vanir gods in an ultimate battle against evil, the forces of nature and the Giants.

Creepy, but also kind of not…

Confession time, I never saw The Sopranos. I think I might watch it, apparently it’s quite good. 🤪

    🎥 Watching: The Running Man

In a dystopian America, a falsely convicted policeman gets his shot at freedom when he must forcibly participate in a TV game show where convicts, runners, must battle killers for their freedom.

Bit of a random selection tonight…

Loved the first couple of episodes of Ahsoka, along with the general Star Wars galaxy since it’s been with Disney. These smaller story arcs really suit the TV format versus the big movie experience.

    Keep ‘em coming Disney!

    📺 Watched Salvation (2017–2018)

An MIT grad student and a tech superstar bring a low-level Pentagon official a staggering discovery--that an asteroid is just six months away from colliding with Earth.

Was quite interesting how they used a voice actor and AI to have Andy narrate the series.

📺 Fever Pitch! The Rise of the Premier League (2021– )

The creation of the English Premier League through the stories of people like Eric Cantona, David Beckham, Vinnie Jones and Alan Shearer.

Wasn’t a bad series, though I wish it was longer than 4 episodes. ⚽️

📺 watching: Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992)

Flighty teenage girl Buffy Summers learns that she is her generation's destined battler of vampires.

Something a bit random for this evening’s entertainment. 🧛‍♀️
