New Season! π
πΊ The Great North has been one of my favourite discoveries this year, super funny, really dry humour, and quite weird.
And thereβs 5 seasons of it! π»
πΊ Loved the second season of Andor! I think I’m going to rewatch it from the very first episode through Rogue One seeing as that portion of the arc is pretty much complete now.
π₯ Watched: The Killing Game
When a hitman is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take a hit out on himself. But when the very hitmen he hired also target his ex-girlfriend, he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues.
Not a bad movie, full of all the cliches you’d expect from the genre, kind of a fun βJohn Wickβ vibe.
π₯ Watching: MaXXXine
In 1980s Hollywood adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.
There’s a certain weirdness and awkwardness that Mia Goth brings to her roles that works quite well for the characters she tends plays.

π₯ Watched: Woman Of The Hour
Sheryl Bradshaw, a single woman looking for a suitor on a hit 1970s TV show, chooses charming bachelor Rodney Alcala, unaware that, behind the man’s gentle facade, he hides a deadly secret.
Bit of a different take on the 70βs era serial killer movie genre. Takes a while for the story to ramp up, but is decent overall.

A family's getaway to a luxurious rental home takes an ominous turn when a cyberattack knocks out their devices, and two strangers appear at their door.Leave the World Behind on IMDB
Netflix has the worst volume differential between the dialogue and the music in their movies.
If you adjust the volume so the music doesn’t blow your ears out, you can’t hear the dialogue, so you turn it up and some more music plays and it’s loud as fuck!
Ugh I’m so old! π
